Reorganizing

A bit of time has passed since my last update. Now that our move is behind us, it's time to get down to business. We were blessed with an absolutely beautiful fall weekend for moving which helped certainly for things to run smoothly. I spent the next few weeks unpacking many boxes and reorganizing our new place. Feels like home now. After an enjoyable Christmas season with family, it was time to start back into some serious work.

April and I have been busy reorganizing all our supplies for our busy bead supply shop
(Rouge River Beads) to help streamline packaging and shipping and looking at expanding our item offerings in several categories. If you haven't stopped by recently, be sure to check out our SALE - only one week left!



Now I have some time to concentrate on my shop. It is important to set aside time every day for the creative side of me. Seeing all these ideas spinning around in my brain finally being produced into a finished product is very rewarding. Although I seem to always get bogged down when it comes to the picture taking part - I am slowly getting through when the best light allows for a photography session and listing new items. There is still some old pictures that need to be reworked, but after retaking pictures probably five to six times, I am finally happy with the overall look.

I also sat and compiled a list of goals for 2011 to help keep me on track. Although there are days that seem far too short, a small bit of time every day helps to work your way through the list.
