
It's been quite some time since my last update. How goes the clutter chaos you ask?
Well the clutter police have now gone through our entire house. We decided in July we were going to list our house, so that meant decluttering everywhere before we could get the real estate in. Everything in the way of collections was relocated to my daughter's basement. That meant my valued fabric collection, my collection of quilt and cooking books, personal pictures. We thinned out the house and made it spacious and clutter free - very tidy house for prospective buyers.
The office had to look absolutely tidy every day, so all that was in there was the bare minimum. When you ship out supplies on a daily basis http://www.etsy.com/shop/rougeriverbeads, it made things very confusing - after all, every day it had to look like the maid had just whipped through.
Thankfully, in our area, it does not take long to sell a house. In five days it was sold, but I continued on with the decluttering. I have gone through every drawer, every closet and every cupboard getting rid of all things that no longer serve a purpose and should be finished with this huge task this weekend. I have packed up pretty much everything that we can live without for the next couple of weeks, so now all that is left is that last minute stuff that can't be done until the last few days before moving day.
The whole process has been time consuming but so worth it in the end.
Moving day is quickly approaching! Then we are faced with that huge sea of boxes. I'm itching to get totally re-organized as the creative bug is getting the better of me. I'm looking forward to getting our life back to normal, being able to cre
